What is MolarMetrics?
MolarMetrics is an AI-powered technology and app that determines the age of livestock based on dentition (tooth structure). It helps farmers, vets, stockyards, and processors with age verification for regulatory compliance, herd management, and marketability.

What animals does MolarMetrics work for?

How accurate is the AI?
Our AI model is trained using thousands of verified images and videos, achieving high accuracy in estimating age. However, environmental factors and individual variation can affect results. Accuracy ratings are displayed in a percentage after a scan, as well as the certification, to ensure transparency in the AI's confidence scores. 

1. How do the credit bundles work?

Credit bundles allow users to purchase either age verification scans or certificates or both, in bulk at a discounted rate. 

2. Do my credits expire?

No, purchased credits do not expire. You can use them anytime as needed.

3. Can I purchase a single credit instead of a bundle?

Yes! A single credit is available for $2.00, but buying in bulk provides significant discounts.

4. How do I get the free trial credits?

Every new user gets 3 free credits upon signing up to test the system before making a purchase. Simply create an account via the app to receive your first 3 credits free. 

5. What happens if I run out of credits?

You can purchase additional credits at any time through the app. If you require more than 250 credits at a time, we offer special pricing for larger volumes through a self-service checkout option. 

6. Do you offer large volume (enterprise) pricing?

Yes! For 250+ credits, we provide custom pricing with up to 45% discounts. Businesses needing 5,000+ scans or unlimited usage can contact us for a tailored plan.

7. How does the enterprise (large volume) self-service checkout work?

For large-volume purchases (250+ credits), we provide a seamless online checkout to avoid manual processing and additional fees.

8. Can I share credits with my team or business?

Yes, as long as you are considered an enterprise customer. Credits associated with an enterprise level business can be used by up to 5 users within the account. If more users are needed, please contact us to meet the user needs of your business.  

9. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards and online payment methods through our secure checkout.

10. Do you offer refunds on unused credits?

Credits are non-refundable but never expire, so you can use them whenever you need.

What is a MolarMetrics Certification?
It’s a digital age verification document based on AI analysis. It can be used for record-keeping, compliance, and sale verification.

How do I access my certification?
Once generated, your certification will automatically download to your phone or device’s camera roll or sent to another storage option of your choice on your device. You can also find your certification details on our website's certification database for the same information. 

How can someone verify a MolarMetrics Certification?
Each certificate has a unique certification number. To verify it:

Is the age verification result guaranteed to be 100% accurate?
MolarMetrics uses advanced AI technology to estimate livestock age based on dentition analysis. While our model is highly accurate, results may vary due to factors such as genetics, diet, and environmental conditions. Our certifications are intended for informational purposes and should not replace professional veterinary assessments or regulatory evaluations.

How do I take a good photo for an accurate scan?

• First, understand that handling livestock carries inherent risks. Only attempt to take photos in safe, controlled environments using proper restraint equipment.

• Ensure the animal’s lower teeth are clean and visible

• Take the photo in good lighting

• Hold the camera steady and close enough to capture details

• There is an overlay on the app's camera, allowing you to find the perfect angle (roughly 45 degrees) and distance from the teeth (between 8-10 inches). 

What if my scan fails?
If a scan fails, try adjusting the lighting, angle, or clarity of the photo. If issues persist, contact our team at support@molarmetricsai.com.

If the scan fails, do I get charged a credit? 

No, our app is designed to ensure the scan produces a reasonable accuracy rating before charging a credit to the user. If the scan failed, you will be prompted to adjust your angle, etc. and retake the scan. 

When will MolarMetrics support more animals?
We are actively working on adding sheep, goats, horses, and other wildlife, like deer, as soon as possible. Sign up for updates here. The MolarMetrics team is working diligently to ensure we provide all the needs of our clients, including all of the species that are in need of age estimation.
